Main distribution frame system COM 91-2 | q | Dimensions according to ETSI norm | | q | Compact design results in higher connection density | | q | The racks are flexible in their vertical/vertical design | | q | Suitable for all KRONE switching equipment (copper, coax, fibre optic) | | q | Delivered unassembled | The main distribution frame system is designed for 10-pair LSA PROFIL modules on both the system and line sides (it can be modified for 8-pair LSA PROFIL modules). In this frame model the insertion slots for the modules on the line and system sides are arranged vertically above each other on a single fixed profile frame. This layout makes jumpering possible within the same vertical. The standard frame comes with 250 mm spacing between verticals; it is available in a 2-vertical version. MDF COM frames consist of powder-coated (colour: grey; RAL 7032) steel sections, the fixed profile frames are made of stainless steel. All the components of the frame and profile frames and the frame accessories are connected to a common earth potential. Connection points for an FPE cable (min. cross section: 50 mm2 copper) to the main earth conductor are accessible at the top and bottom bars of the frame. The connection capacity of a distribution frame totals 1200 pairs (2 x 600 pairs) for the system and line sides. Distribution frames can be combined to form banks of any length. Note, however, that the horizontal jumpering capacity is about 3200 pairs (jumper diameter 0.9 mm) and vertical jumpering capacity is about 1300 pairs (jumper diameter: 0.9mm). The MDF COM 91-2 can be configured for the following design variants: | q | Wall-secured standing frame (free-standing distribution frame, secured to the wall - see illustration) | | q | Free-standing distribution frame, single-sided (free-standing distribution frame, secured to the ceiling) | | q | Free-standing distribution frame, double-sided (free-standing distribution frame, secured to the ceiling, bolted back to back). | | |
